Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 |
Yamaha Motor India has launched the all new R15 sports bike.
The second generation model of the R15 has been aptly called the R15 Version
2.0 and is available with a starting price of Rs.1.07 lakhs (ex-showroom
Delhi).
Yamaha has developed the latest R15 after receiving lot of
feedback from Indian buyers. In fact much of the changes made are in response
to R15 buyers request for a sportier look and feel. The R15 has been a trend
setter in India and has played a pivotal role in establishing Yamaha's brand
image. It impressed one and all with its accurate handling and powerful
performance.
The new R15 has borrowed several styling inputs from
Yamaha's superbikes such as the R1 and the R6. The rear seat has been raised
and the split seats add to the bike's sporty look. The rear indicators and the
number plate appear to hang just above the rear wheel. The front end of the new
R15 remains unchanged. One of the big highlights about the R15 Version 2.0 is
its rear tyre. It is wider and provides more grip. MRF had specially developed
new tyres for the R15 to deliver the required grip. We expect the same rubber
to have been used in the new tyre as well.
The R15 Version 2.0 will surely enthrall track enthusiasts
with its new look. As far as performance, the old R15 has remained unchallenged
and we expect the latest version to follow suit. Check for more updates of the new Yamaha R15
Version 2.0
