Recently, Yamaha R125 has been noticed running on Indian roads. The bike is expected to be launched next year with a speculated price of Rs 90,000. The new Yamaha R125 is to come with stunning fairing and lots of race-inspired features. The bike will have a 125cc engine.

India Yamaha Motor had launched sports and supersports bikes in India and now it is planning to introduce one more stunning new bike in India. As per news reports, the Japanese company intends to launch Yamaha YZF R125 in India very soon. Thanks to the overwhelming response for its existing R and FZ series bikes that force the company to launch a new supersports bike in 125cc segment. The bike was, at first, launched in the year 2008 in overseas market. Since launching the Yamaha R125, it has got several upgradations time and again.

The Yamaha R125 which is available in overseas market has been loaded with a 124.66cc displacement, liquid cooled, SOHC, single cylinder powerplant. This compact but sporty engine is capable of delivering 15 PS (14.5 bhp) of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 12.2 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The fuel injected machine incorporates six-speed gearbox. In view to achieve greater performance and rigidity, it is equipped with a Deltabox chassis, aluminium swing arm and five-spoke lightweight alloy wheels. Yamaha R125 has been blessed with 292 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes.

The Yamaha YZF R125 possesses somewhat the same body style and stance as higher R series bikes like Yamaha YZF R6 and iconic Yamaha YZF R1. The front face and rear view of the bike are borrowed from the bigger R series Yamaha bikes. One can see the copied items such as dual headlights, compact tail side view and the low front face.

The fuel tank of the bike would be of 13.8 litres with a 1.15 litres of reserve. At this point of time, the calculated fuel efficiency on Indian roads is to be 40 kmpl. The Yamaha R125 is available in four colours viz, Burning Blue , Sports White , Impact Yellow and Midnight black. And the bike is to be introduced in India with the same colour scheme. The body colour is painted at full front fender, fuel tank and rear side panels. Only in burning blue shade, the air scoops come in body colour and white while rest of the body hues have white colour air scoops.

In India the same bike is supposed to be introduced. The front face of the bike is aggressive with dual headlamp cluster. A large transparent windshield is fitted on the headlamps. Unlike the now available Indian bikes, the front fender is in body colour. Front turn indicators are placed at airscoops that add to its macho look. The full sized air scoops have the logo's of the company and the model in bold fonts. The fuel tank of the bike is raised almost upto handlebars. In terms of Wheels, the bike is inspired from special edition of Yamaha FZ which has golden colour painted wheels. Both the wheels attract you in the first go. Yamaha R125's light weight Deltabox frame also make it amazing and cute which attracts everybody.
